Kate Carpenter DL

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I am moving mine and will be able to share a little of it. Please let me know what you have to offer. I am not looking for any DL but do want a perennial (Tall, long blooming or interesting folliage).

Kennebunk, ME(Zone 5a)

I would simply LOVE to adopt Kate Carpenter. She looks like my kinda gal *lol*
I have a couple things I could offer but one of them isn't ready yet as they are just coming up and I don't know which colors are which. Both are hardy in zone 5 and both are long blooming.

The first is called Thrift. I love these little mounds of grass with pink pom pom blooms. Not the greatest picture. Plan to get a better one this year :)

The second is called Balloon Plant. These are beautiful as when they are in bud, they look like hot air balloons. Then they pop open and have a star blossom. I think I have blue, dwarf blue, pink, white, and double blue out there but again, these are just emerging.

Here is a picture of the thrift.

I will post a picture of the double Platycodon (balloon plant) next.

Here is a picture of the Thrift today. I love the way it looks like a little sea urchin.
I meant to tell you, both of these plants are very well behaved in the garden.
The Platycodon make alot of seeds in the fall and the Thrift is best if divided every few years. I started out with 1 and now have 4 just from splitting it (as I wanted more *lol*)

Let me know if you are interested.
