Hoya Polyneura

Tempe, AZ(Zone 9a)

I have a nice and full H Polyneura and notice some of the leaves are lighter in color. Is this natural for this variety or is this indicitive of a deficiency

Cindy, the newer leaves of H. polyneura are that lighter yellow color. If the older leaves are yellowish also, it could be too much sunlight.

Ok, that makes sense now that I look at it again. What a relief. I understand this variety prefers to stay on the drier side compared to most others I have. My climate is pretty dry and this is indoors where it is probably even drier so I've been trying to monitor its needs. Thank you so much for your time and information.

yes, I agree about the sunlight, mine was getting just a few hours of sun a day and became much lighter in color.
