Are you talking about a white one or the orange one?

Here's a thread I started on the white BOP a while back:

And there's another on Carolina Gardening as well. Apparently, the white one must get really huge before blooming, and really needs the right conditions anyway.

Thanks, dosent sound real hopeful for me. Mines probaly 4or5 ft tall. I keep it in a greenhouse over winter. But I always trim the dead leaves.I was thinking I will not keep my greenhouse going this winter. Too expensive.
I picked my 2 up abt 4 yrs ago at the Phila Flower show. Do not know what kind. dixie

I am stubbornly holding out hope that I will get mine to bloom somehow one day. We both have greenhouses, so you never do know!

I've heard it takes 5 leaves for them to bloom so stop cutting the dead leaves off.

There's one bloming towards the end, but you get an idea ofhow big they have to be. I think the orange ones are a bit easier, but I love my white one even if it never blooms :)
