Itchey allergy eyes.........

Ugh ! Red, itchey, allergy eyes, .... happens to me every spring. Here's a tip my doctor told me to do that seems to help.

She said to shampoo my eyelashes with baby shampoo, to remove any pollen that sticks there. Amazingly, it does help. Usually when the itching gets so bad I just want to claw my eyes out,... it helps if i go do this. If I use my allergy eye drops without doing this, I get a little relief, but not nearly as much because the offensive pollen is still present. As soon as the drops wear off.... back to same thing. This way I don't have to use my drops as often, which means saving money on expensive prescription eye drops too.
