This one seems to be definately pink. It is a volunteer. The flower is a little less than 2 inches.

trois, I think your beautiful pink Pavonia is probably a different species from Pavonia hastata. There are about 335 species in the genus! Yours looks much more like Pavonia harleyi than P. hastata: http://www.malvaceae.info/Genera/Pavonia/gallery.html

I agree the flower looks the same, but the leaves look completely different.

Yeah, it isn't hastata. Its pretty though. Btw Kennedy, the Pavonia hirticalyx pictured at that link is an amazing looking flower.

This may be a hybridized plant. After a lot of checking it most closely resembles Pavonia lasiopetala. What do you think? I do live in a swamp.
