I got a feeling I know the answer to this one, but I'll fly it by ya'll anyway.
Hank's muzzle and nose have little kind of bumps - not pink, but rough, almost like scabs. He has a case of rain rot on his back legs (is the back "shin" a cannon bone, too?) and mud whatever-you-call-it on his back pasterns, just below the fetlock. Poor guy. But I'm wondering if the stuff on his nose is also fungal or what...
I picked up some of Jenks' anti-fungal shampoo (nasty stuff, looks like oil and smells like bacon grease,) and the farrier suggested diaper rash cream for his heels - it's all just zinc oxide. Should I be putting this carp on his muzzle, too?
Guess he's truly a desert animal - all of this wet stuff is making him sick.
