I found these all over my lamb's ear. Something has been eating my whole garden and I think these might be the culprit. Can anyone id them for me? Also, I've had a lot more little flies this year. They have tiny little irridescent green bodies. Could they be eating things too? My japanese variegated knotweed is in bloom right now and there are all kinds of critters I've never seen before all over eat getting nectar. I'm wondering if that's what is on our boxwoods too. We cut them way back over the winter. Just as it started getting new growth , something is taking perfect little semi-circle bites out of the leaves. It's eaten them back to the stems. Any ideas?
bug id please
Donya, they look like flea beetles, I have had a lot of them too, but they go away after a while when their cycle is over.
Josephine.
Do you think that's what is eating everything? Nearly every single plant has holes in it.
There are probably a few different types active at this time, some of them are striped.
