I have looked at some pics posted from Hawaii and the hens there are a little different from the ones I have seen here.
I figure that being isolated esp. on the oldest Island (can't think of the name) they are as close to the original gene pool I can find.

Eufaula and LoraK Many thanks for your replies.....I have searched a lot and most folks with game birds have other color forms also. My thoughts were they may not be as pure as I want? but may have to settle for mainland birds.

I have bought some Muscovy Duck eggs off ebay and eggbid.com and checked a bunck of Hatcheries also.

I just don't know anyone in Hawaii that can help....
