There are nine Brug cultivar names in the plantfiles which have absolutely no information nor pics and seem not to appear anywhere else on the web. They have a food theme and look as though they might all be by the same person!!
'Strawberry Parfait'
'Tiramisu'
'Watermelon Wine'
'Lemon Meringue'
'Creme Brulee'
'Cherries Jubilee'
'Banana Foster'
'Creme de Fraise'
'Raspberry Truffle'
Does anyone know whose they are or recognise them??

Anyone 'own' these?
I have never heard of any of these. Huuummmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had heard a rumor that there were names being added to the brugmansia plantfiles in order to save the names for later and that the people who manage the plant files were trying to keep that from happening.
Found them on this site
'Strawberry Parfait'

Thanks Janett! I had never heard of that site. The "cultivars" seem to be substanceless ghosts there as well - no information that isn't completely generic. The links just bring you back to the plant files (and I see I missed 'Pumpkin Souflee'!). I suspect that zipcodezoo got the data from here.
Delisa I think you are right! Of course the names are not saved or reserved by doing that (even if there were plants associated with them, let alone when they are just names in a vacuum). I wonder if we should ask for them to be removed from the plant files??

Mary Haik originally added the majority of these names to the Society when we had our history/parentage site. You might contact her and ask her what exist and what doesn't. I'm sure she will work with you and help you. :)
Thanks Vee :-)
