Should I be worried about this Robin? I don't know what I'd do for him/her if something was wrong though…
Is this Robin okay?
Looks to me like it may have got some oil or some other similar contamination on its plumage. It could poison itself if it swallows any of the contamination while preening, and is also at risk of getting chilled in heavy rain because of loss of the natural waterproofing in the feathers. If you can catch it, take it to a rehabber for cleaning up. If you can't catch it, not a lot you can do.

Could well be, with the larger pic, thanks - in the small pics it looked like they were matted, rather than missing. In which case it could be a close call with a cat or similar. If there are no body injuries, it would be OK, but any bites breaking the skin could get septic of course.
