Wanted: Things for a memorial garden for postage

De Soto, MO

Hi all
I am working on a memorial garden for my 2 children who passed away on 2 May, 2004 and 10 Jan, 2007.
I am wanting to add color such as Kwansa lilies, Stella De Oro etc. I am new to Dave's Garden, so any help on proceedure would be greatly appreciated.

Ocean Springs, MS

God bless you! I'm so sorry for the loss of your children. I would like to help you. My daylilies are in bloom now, so I'll see what I can divide. I just dug up some beautiful white "Easter lilies" is you want those. What about a climbing rose? I have pink seven sisters rooted cuttings. I'll be more the willing to share with you. After my dad passed away, I planted a rose garden in his memory. Did your children collect anything? Maybe you could add a couple of items that they collected to make it more special. My dad's nickname was Frog, so I have filled the garden with frog art, too. Let me know. love, julie

June, I am so sorry for your loss! If the childrens names are fairly common ones, you might be able to find flowers with their names.
Daylilies are named after people often...maybe I would have a DL with one of their names. I do have a plant that I just got and it's called Catananche Caerulea major "Love Plant". It came in a package of 3 and I would gladly give you one if this is something you think you would like. Here is the link to what it looks like:

Please d-mail and im sure I have others you could have, we'll talk and you can give me an idea of what your looking for and colors too.
