I am thinking about getting an outdoor grill. I haven't had one in years. The last one was a pretty old gas grill and it was very scary to light. I will probably be looking for a small grill. I am wondering which is better - gas or charcoal? I'm wondering if anyone knows which to buy for taste and energy/cost factors. Can the ash from charcoal be put in the compost?
