Devil Horse, Southeastern Lubber (Romalea guttata)
Very interesting photo! I've heard that the anoles would eat the lubbers as nymphs, but I've never seen proof of it until now. The anole may end up with a bad stomach ache, however, because the lubbers are highly toxic when mature. It may be that the poisons are not as potent when the lubbers are nymphs.
