since I last posted. I miss you all and the great heart rushes over new crosses. I tune in often to see the pictures... My life just got too complicated with the hoyas, and just....well....LIFE!!! Brugs are still a very important part of my life...and while I am not growing out new seeds (time?)...I adore what I have. My wild cross seed pods continue to flourish...Herrenhauser Garten continues to bloom....here are a few of my favorites....today.
This is a seedling from Kyles' seeds...Aurea White X Rothkirk (I think). She is about 1.5 years old. A bear to prune!!!!
It has been a LONG time
BTW...the pod sister of that brug is a tiny pink bloom, and the plant hasn't grown beyond 6' in a year and a half....go figger.
This is a favorite of mine. No clue where it came from...but, it too, is now about 15' tall. I chop all of these back about every 4-5 months and fertilize the heck out of them. Some of the trunks are 3 and 4" thick.
If anyone wants a canopy of brugmansias....let me know!!! I love to trade!
Yes it has been a while! Goodness you grow some monsters! They are both very pretty. So nice to see you back!
Caren
they are both stunning... I love the deep color on that second one... I can't imagine having a brug so large.. in fact, I don't have room for something so beautiful. Wish I did. You will just have to keep sharing pictures. How do they smell?

Heavenly!
Lovely Carol, I sure wish I had your climate to grow mine in.
Great to see you again, Carol! Everything looks even bigger and brighter than it did when we were there last September!
Mary..EVERYthing is just HUGE!!!
Surely, a cutting of the double orange one would grow well in a large pot in Texas. Carol, what would you take for a trade?
Veronica
Your first born and options on your oil well!!!
No worries...I would love to share for postage!!! Send me a D-mail.
Carol
Carol,
I showed my sweetie your monster...he said he would be afraid it would eat him.
That is just amazing. My poor little ones are just that....little.
I have had trouble with spider mites, I think that is what they are.
Your plants are just fantastic. I look forward to seeing more pictures.
Marie
Aloha from Maui - would love to do some trading with you....
Fine...that would work!!!! Brugs are so easy to grow here!!!! Send me a D-Mail and we can figure it out!!
Carol
Carol, glad to see you posting, I love to see your pictures. I have envy, but only in the nicest way, lol!
Jackie
I keep going back to that first picture... it is just so huge. It does look like it is going to eat you. I am amazed by all the beautiful plants you can grow over there. Some day I will be able to visit again. It has been so long I can't remember a lot... and I was a teenager when I was there last. I am sure I would appreciate the landscape a lot more now rather than the boys. LOL

Wow, Carol!!
Congrats on getting HG to bloom...I know the blooms have escaped many of us! (The plant hated me....period!)
I'd love to trade something (anything!) for a cutting of that dbl orange too....I've found the doubles impossible to get ahold of.
Let me know what you might be looking for - Thanks.
