Sungold, of course. Last year, it kept producing latest of all, as well. Under an umbrella cloche, it was still ripening fruit on the vine until that crazy windstorm right around Thanksgiving blew off the cloche, and the vine froze solid. It was mindboggling, though, picking fresh tomatoes outside in November!
First tomatoes of the year!
Envy. My are just going out.
Tomato envy here too. Those are lovely cloches and for such a good cause. Enjoy the harvest!
I got them from Charley's Greenhouse Supply--I think they paid for themselves last year in produce. DH didn't even call them an eyesore :)
Hi Larisa,
Wow - that is amazing! I am happy to have flowers on my tomatoes at this point :)
I used to think I'd never feel any postive sentiments toward plastic, but I had to reconsider my position.
:P
