Well...
It looks like either an Aechmea or Quesnelia. I'll guess it's a Quesnelia just because of the leaves and the conformation (not generally reliable characters). I'll make a wild species guess at Quesnelia testudo which it does look like. The genus Aechmea is "...poorly defined..." (words of Lyman Smith, father of Bromeliad taxonomy) and most quesnelias could be mistaken for Aechmeas.

I second that thought. When I first saw the picture (and before I read anything) I thought, "Hey, that looks like my quesnelia!"
