I also have these Elephant Ears:

alocasia African Mask
xanthosoma Sagittifolium, 'Arrowhead'
xanthosoma Atrovirens , 'Mickey Mouse'

I'm looking for:

EEs I don't have (ask me)
Cannas I don't have (ask me)
Plants that will add color to my garden. Low - medium height tropicals with colorful flowers.
Tropicals - surprise me

Please, no plants for postage at his time, and no offers for seeds - it's too late here.

Sorry, Sticks. When you grow them here in Florida, you end up with a whole lot more han what you started with. I love it here; I don't know how I lived up north all those years. I didn't even know what an elephant ear was, in New England.

skaz- I planted some elephant ear bulbs about 2 weeks ago. Just some from Walmart that were about softball size. Should they be coming up yet or does it take them a while? Thanks for any info you can give me on getting these to show themselves.

Crystal,

I don't know - I've never tried one of those Walmart rhizomes. I've seen them, and they're huge. I would think that they would take a while to come up.

If I were you, I'd post your question in he Aroids forum. Somebody there will know. Sorry.

Steve

Kaleem,

Yes, now I remember. Seeing the picture makes me wish I had kept it. Somehow, I ended up with no Broms, except for a pineapple that hasn't fruited.

How have you been?

Steve
