Hi Everyone,
I have a beautiful Montana Clematis but I really need to cut it back extensively. It has been neglected for about 3 years because I could not get on a ladder. I had back surgery and can now get up on one...yeah!
How much can I cut back and when should I do it to save the plant but get out all the deadwood and stop the new shoots from going so far...
The biggest of the blooming has stopped, it was just all bloom about 3 weeks ago.
It is such an aggressive frower here right now. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
