Help.....I live in Nash County, N.C. and have a plant that is trying to take over and I pull it and pull it and pull it, ten more grow around the one I pulled out. If left alone this plant will grow into a bush and then a tree. It [the plant], will have purple flowers. I visited my aunt in Moore County today and noticed little ones coming up in here yard and she said she had always known it as "cotton bush". This plant can have white flowers also...from what I have been told. HELP please....have used roundup and others like it...cannot kill it....keeps coming back, new spot, different day.
