I Totally Agree Rustywoman! I have Mothered Nieces & Nephews and also our friends children over the years! I would have loved a house full if that had been in God's Plan .... but he obviously had other plans for me! Been married almost 38 years and my husband was one of 4 and I am one of 6 ..... everyone in my family thought I would have at least six of my own!
I truly believe in that old saying of "It takes a Village" to raise a child! And, especially so in this day and age! We all need each other!
Again ... I hope Everyone had a Wonderful Mom's Day Weekend, whether a Mom to children or pets or both!

Happy Mother's Day and Rusty and Lin, you are right!!! It takes a village to raise a child......my friends helped me along the way with encouragement, etc.....and besides, how can a child have too many people to love him or her in a lifetime??
So True Gail! The one, Most Important thing Every Child needs is to know that they are Loved and Cared About, no matter what!
When my own were growing up I knew how happy it made them when other people loved them, too. i think that is why i always go out of my way to love children from birth to adulthood......their self esteem just grows!!!!!
