My neighbor has these bulbs in bloom in her garden blooming right now. We are in Zone 5/6. She has no idea what these are, and I have never seen anything like them so I can't help her either! The leaves are about the same size and shape as a crocus. I would really appreciate the name of the bulbs and any information you can give me about them. Thank you,
Linda
Can you help identify this cute, tiny flower?
I think they are rain lilies. But will wait to see what others think.
Or could it be Ipheion uniflorum (Spring Starflower)??

Also known as Star of Bethlehem.
Thank you so much jmorth. I think you are correct. I looked up the pictures posted in the Plant Files and also read the write-ups about it. I plan on letting my neighbor keep it at her house after reading about it's invasive qualities!
