Yesterday we had a large hatch of welsumer and welsumer crossed chicks(24). I am now in the process of finding homes for these beautiful and colorful little fuzz balls. The chicks parents were as follows:
Hens- Buff Orpington, Delaware, Silver Laced Wyandottes and Welsumers
Roosters were 2 Welsumers
There are mostly pure welsumer chicks but there are also some of each of the other crosses. I do not ship chicks. I live in Harpursville , New York. If you might be interested please email me at

Mommagoose - I was wondering if you would have any pics of your Welsummer chicks. I bought a bunch of chicks and am wondering what kind they were. If you had pics I might compare mine with.
Sorry , I sold all the chicks this morning and I am afraid I do not have any pictures. Welsumer chicks are predominently brown with light colored stripes down their back and have a "v" shaped cap on the top of their heads. For great pictures of chicks go to www.feathersite.com. They have a section just on identification of chicks.:)
