We have these plants in lots of pots and among rocks on an 'island' with other succulents and cacti. Soooo easy to grow...and last through droughts and freezes. Love that they multiply quickly and require little care -- but deliver dependable background color and lively blossoms. Thoroughly likable plant! You have captured their robust gaiety!

ladyanne, these are not Echeveria, but instead are most likely Sempervivum (same common name, different plants ;o)

Any chance you would know which species or kind of Sempervivums?

I am now confused. I looked up 'echevaria' and found this image:

and then looked up 'sempervivum' and found this image:

I still think the plant looks more like echevaria than sempervivum...especially the blooms.
