Just picked this up today at Lowe's. Not sure if it is really boliviensis but it looks pretty close to the real thing.

Thanks Jackie. I've been wanting one of these for quite a while but didn't want to take a chance with mail order. I got my order from GHW yesterday as well and were they pitiful looking. Anyway the Lowe's I got this from had about 20 of them. It is supposed to be Boliviensis 'Bonfire' (according to Charles Jaros) and for $15 they should go fast.
I'm going by my Lowes tomorrow to look but I'm sure my store won't have it.
It was a great buy for 15.00. Enjoy.

Do you think this B. is Bonfire?
Begonia boliviensis seeds were obtained in 1990 from selected plants in Northern Argentina. The area where the seed was collected had many of these plants, however selection of seeds came from plants judged to be of value as an ornamental crop. The seeds were germinated in New Zealand and a second selection of the most suitable plants took place. In 1997/8, three distinct forms were identified of which Begonia ‘Bonfire’ was considered the best.

I don't know if this is 'Bonfire' or not but I've been eyeing this for the past few years at PDN but their plants come in small packages so I waited. Then when this came along I grabbed it (should've grabbed some more).
Then yesterday I found a begonia labelled 'Bonfire' at a local nursery and got it too. Here it is but it was in a smaller pot than the one at Lowes. The leaves are a darker green and the nodes are closer together and the habit so far is erect. Maybe it was grown in more shade than the ones at Lowes?
gee, I wished i hadn't missed this thread when Lowe's had this plant...............'Bonfire' is so pretty!!
