Iris Rhizomes Wanted!

Springfield, IL(Zone 6a)

I'm a novice compared to most of you and can only identify most plants by the most general names. I have some irises that were going to be thrown out and now really like them. If you have any irises that you are dividing or you just feel like sharing, I would love to have some different ones. I don't need to know names but it would be good to know if they are tall or short. If that's too much, I'm okay with that as well! ; )

I have some Russian sage, dwarf Korean lilacs, and a small amount of zebra grass to trade or I could pay for postage/handling if you'd rather have that. Thanks in advance and take care!

Susie

Susie I have some medium dark purple iris that I am dividing that you are welcome to have. I'll post a photo. They are blooming right now. I can pull them after the bloom. I also have some iris tubers I got from a 1920's house recently. I have no idea what kind they are at all so it's pot luck, but I have plenty of them and am happy to share.

How large are the russian sage you are willing to trade? If they are big enough we could do a straight trade if you are interested. If they are babies, I will trade for postage because the tubers are heavy. We'd want to use a flat rate box.

I'll run outside and get a photograph. I'll probably have some other irises to share too, but I can't tell until they bloom. I'm kind of reorganizing parts of the garden.

Here it is. Dmail me if you are interested.

So pretty Pixydish! Reminds me of grandma's garden. :-) Thx for the smile.

They are definitely an old variety - and an old standby! Classic iris.
