Shoulda been there to see the look on Chewie's face this morning. Poor fellow... Farrier said "keep the foot dry overnight so I can look at it & shoe tomorrow. Don't soak it, don't wrap it, put his easyboot on so he'll keep it from splitting & cracking."
Thunder looming overhead, I locked him in his stall overnight,,, Thunderstorms everywhere around overnight...
This morning, more chance of storms, so he's still locked up. I don't like keeping a horse stalled... at all.... but can't let it get muddy & wet, not after just getting the abscess healed up...
Poor baby....
He's mad at me!!!
