Not the best picture, but it was fun standing there with all these guys streaking past my head to get to the fountain. They are so fearless as long as I stand still.

The fountain is just to side of our living room window, so we can see them on approach. Also, right in front of the window are two hummer/oriole feeders which are the main attraction right now - busy all day and evening. Since we use our laptops sitting in our recliners, we can watch the birds while we work/surf at the same time. What a life!

Thanks, Resin, I thought so but I'm never very good at the little ones. I did see a Lawrence's Goldfinch last week - much easier to pick out from the crowd. We have GFs year round and just love them.
