Awesome photo! I have one of these vines, and am wondering how old does the plant have to be before flowers are produced? Any thoughts?

This one is my Mom's but I am pretty sure it bloomed the year after planting if not the same year. They like full sun, mine is in too much shade so blooms sparsely.

I have one I won on eBay late last year, and have it placed in full sun on a 6 foot trellis. I am hoping to see these fantastic flowers this year! Does it typically flower up later in the summer?

could be for you, here it was in full bloom end of April-early May. My Mom's fence is covered by it here.
