This flower is from 2 pink parents, and had to be pretty well spent before even having this little bit of peach color. We always need to remember it can look like the grandparents or even great grandparents. This one also didn't inherit the nice shape or tendrils of it's parents either. Two years, and this is all I get. LOL She's about to be toast. Even if one thing improved with the 2nd or 3rd bloom, there's too much wrong to bother saving her. Never count your brugs before they bloom, and never be afraid to add to the compost pile.
Pink x Pink doesn't always equal Pink
I Know what you mean! I have grown some beauties for years, to only see a white bloom.
I hear ya too... LOL I was so thrilled at first.. but I've already had my fill of plain whites or pale peachy nothings..
Well, on the bright side, at least you have blooms! I'm still all green here with 1 out of 5 micro mini buds hanging on. LOL
Mary
If this is the frist blooming season, dont go by that sometimes it takes a couple of seasons to get the good blooms....... But I too would compost it as it looks now.

I salute your decision Mary to chuck this one, only wish more people would be like you honest and ethical to preserve good genes and compost bad ones instead of selling them, on Ebay as something special!
Poor thing, LOL! I hear Taps playing, Mary.
Two years ago, I cried if something happened to any one of my brugs. Now I understand the importance of composting. I'm proud of 'ya!
