Tons of inflos--but only a few blooms here and there. One is Barbados Showgirl, blooming on one in the nursery.
Blooms today
This one is the very first bloom on Yacht Club Rainbow--my only plant. The poor thing is only 16 inches tall and managed to make four tips--ALL of which are trying to bloom. The flowers are smaller than they should be, so I imagine I should probably snap off one of the inflos. :(. I think the plant is too young for such a bounty of flowers. I'll give it another feedling and a week and see.

Absolutley gorgeous!
Wonderful! Thanks for posting those pics! Lovely! I don't think I could bring myself to cut an inflo off. The only time I've done so is when I think the cutting is on the brink of death! LOL!
Great blooms. Love the unusual brown bloom.

She opened! This gorgeous, little 2 inch flower--Phet Pachara-- has me enchanted! it isn;t actually brown now, but tan and cream with hints of pink, which is how it is described in Thailand. Perfect! The coloration is very sensitive and the pink is hard to capture on camera, but I think I did a good job of getting ot as it appears in real life. The fragrance is extremely sweet and actually reminds me of Gold Coast Peachy. It is a definite tops in the fragrance department! Very strong too.
Awesome pictures and description, Brad. It does have a orange-brown glow that I love, and the fact that it has a great fragrance makes it that much more perfect in my book. Thanks again for sharing these pics. Keep them coming!
