I know, as many of us here do, how masterful cats are at enslaving humans. Even so, there are certain indignities that seem beyond the call of duty even for a cat slave. Phantom has been imposing one such indignity on me for a while now. Whenever he feels the need for a facial scrub, he will force his way onto my lap with complete disregard for whatever I may be doing at the time. He will then lick the edge of my hand and immediately rub the side of his face all over it. The lick-rub sequence repeats until he has thoroughly cleaned his face without ever lifting his own lazy paw in the process. This cat has turned me into a human washcloth!
Clearly I'm not nearly the alpha cat I prefer to believe myself to be.
