Someone is poisoning dogs

I'm so upset.

Last week one of my co-workers who lives in town said that her sisters dog and her brothers dog were poisoned, together, one evening when the sister was visiting the brother. Her sister's dog was dead when they found it, and they were able to save her brother's dog.

This morning I heard that there have been several other dogs poisoned since. One was inside a kennel and another was chained up in someone's backyard. The others were ones that were let out to potty. There's been at least 6 that we know of, and probably lots more that we don't know about.

I'm so sick over this. My daughter took her/our puppy, Chubz, into her ex-boyfriends to spend the day with the other puppy. (They share custody of Chubz). I called him to make sure he was aware of it, and he was. However, he didn't know how bad it was. The puppies are kept in a fenced area when he's not home, but it appears that whoever is doing this is driving by and thowing something out to the animals. He was going to go home on his lunch hour and put the dogs inside the house for the rest of the day. Then Chubz will be coming home and visitation may have to take place at our house.

I hope they figure out who is doing this soon and the punishment is harsh! SICKO!!!!!

Sorry to rant and rave, but I'm extremely upset about this.
