does anyone know proportions of Bayer drench for AVs??

Keyring suggested I post my question here as many of you use this as a drench for hoyas. There are no directions on the liquid form of this Product except for trees and shrubs. Can someone who has used this product just tell me how much to use to one gallon of water for mealy bug leaves on African Violets??
thanks

You can't know how much I appreciate this information......do you use yours as a drench??

Yes...about twice a year I go through and water all the plants with it. You must make sure it gets absorbed into the soil so if you have plants that the water just runs through & leaves the dirt dry...you must sit them in a saucer so it can soak in. Since all the plants don't need watering at the same time...as I do each one, I put a little piece of masking tape on the pot so I will know which ones are done.
I use an old jug that I have marked BATS on it, & only use that jug for watering with the stuff.
I love it cause It works like a champ for keeping most bugs at bay & you only have to do it twice a year. I have most of mine done for the spring & will do it again in the fall.
If you have a bunch of mealy bugs on the plants to start with, rinse them off well with water & give a spray of alcohol to kill the ones on them. Then do the drench & it will keep them from coming back.
