Some of my plumerias are beginning to leaf out, but the leaves are turning black and falling off before they develop. My "Pudicah" is probable the worse. I would appreciate any advice anyone can give me.
I have repotted several of my plumerias into larger pots. Cold weather should not be a factor since they were in a green house and have just recently been taken out.
Black Tipped Leaves
Can you post a picture of this? Is it the new teeny tiny leaves that are turning black and falling off? That has happened to many of my plumeria outside. They start to wake up, but the nighttime cold suggests otherwise. Eventually, new leaves come and stay and develop. This is normal.
Clare, I think that is what is happening.
I've noticed this too. I think it is only occurring on new tender growth. There is about an inch or so of new growth with the new leaves turning black and shriveling up, but new ones should be emerging very soon after that.
