Think it could pack any more blooms into that canopy? Absolutely beautiful.

Thank you for sharing.

It is very beautiful. The blossoms look just like my versi orange.

Ok someone ... time to explain Versi... I know that one, changes color and suaveolens... can't find any information on that. Any explinations of the names would be nice.

Thank you in advance.

Tammie... newbie to brugs but I have been reading everything I can find.

Brumansia versicolor has fully pendent trumpet-shaped flowers with the calyx slit on one side and exposing part of the very narrow bit of the corolla tube.

Brugmansia suaveolens has nodding funnel-shaped flowers with the calyx toothed and also exposing part of the very narrow bit of the corolla tube.

This is a suaveolens-type flower

Maybe it is versi. It was sold to me as a sauvoleans. Thanks for the info. Paul

Paul it would appear that you have a beautiful specimen of versi peach. The versi's love the warm florida weather so you can only expect the flushes to get better and better. It may have been sold to you as a suave but you lucked out and got a beautiful versi that will thrive in your area.

Going to rename the photo in my file. Thanks again. Paul

These all came from clippings of the original 3 in gal. pots I was given 7 years ago. When I put the first 3 in the ground 4 years ago, they were about 2' tall. I do NOTHING but prune these a few times a year and water them occasionally. They obviously love this climate, lucky me. That's a 6' fence behind them and they line the fence for 20'. Enjoy.
Happy Gardening,

Very pretty!

I think you are lucky too. Suaveolens seem to be bug magnets (mainly spidermites) for me here in Ohio.
