If you live in Baltimore County: Growing Home Campaign

"As part of Baltimore County’s Green Renaissance, the Growing Home Campaign is a partnership between Baltimore County, local nurseries and garden centers, and homeowners to encourage planting new trees. Baltimore County is a recognized leader in managing development and protecting our environment; nevertheless, our existing communities need more trees. The Growing Home program is an innovative way homeowners can help increase the tree canopy in our region."

Here's the link. What this means is that Baltimore County has decided to add 10,000 trees to its leaf canopy, and they're encouraging home owners to help. Privet donations and business donations are helping. The link below will lead you to participating nurseries, and to a printable coupon. You'll get $10 off at the register for any tree that you buy.

You can purchase more than one, but you need a separate coupon for each tree. Lowes is on the nursery list, so they've tried to make this user friendly. Go here for more info:
