which vitellina is the one in the cv. Noelle cultivar?

I got to thinking about all of the discussion about Hoyas vitellina, and fusco-marginata, and was wondering which vitellina is the one present in Hoya cv. Noelle, along with the vitellinoides.

I still see many pictures of Hoya fusco-marginata labeled as vitellina when I search the internet, but am wondering if the "egg-yolk" vitellina isn't the one. Christina's picture of cv. Noelle's bloom looked pretty yellow in the May blooms thread, so it just got me wondering. My Hoya fusco-marginata is blooming now too, and it is very pretty, but definately cream colored, not yellow/melon.

Carol, do you have any ideas?

Cheers,
Sara

Good question. Hmmmm. I am going to "guess" that it is the fuscomarginata because cv. Noelle gets the dark edge too (or is it cv. Joy that gets the dark edge?). Anyway, gives me a good excuse to call Michael Miyashiro and ask him....if he remembers...can't be worse than me!!!

Carol, thank you for getting back to me! I would love to know, but I won't loose any sleep! Ha.
