Soooo disappointed in my so-called "Uncle Tom" Tulips

These are supposed to be double-late peony flowering tulips. These are not double, and they don't look like any pics I've seen of this tulip. Drat!

And all 5 bulbs were the same. Single red tulips... :(

Anybody have any idea what this imposter might be?

Yes I searched and it doesn't look at all like the photos! How disappointing.... So far this year I've only been disappointed in how the colors don't match the photos on the web sites... but this is to be expected due to the nature of color display on computer monitors...

I would send the photo to the place you bought the bulbs from. I did this with an amaryllis I bought that didn't come true to name and I got a credit for another one this fall. So it is worth checking with the company.

maybe a darwin tulip? I hope you find out because I think they are beautiful. I love that color of red. Are they tall?
