green again!

Macon, IL(Zone 5b)

The greenhouse is FINALLY green again - hooray!! I've begun taking my hoyas out there, along with some epies, brugs and plumerias. I've also got annuals, herbs and tomato plants - which should go in the ground this week. Unlike Kermit - I lOVE green!!
BTW, I just love those little white pots I got for some of my hoyas from Awanda!!

Looking good. How I wish I had the space for a greenhouse. Just one question: If it's a greenhouse why isn't it green all the time? Or is it just a cold frame? I thought greenhouses were heated/cooled and able to sustain plant growth through all seasons? Shows how much I know huh? SQUAT :)

I also love the pots Awanda sells. I got 16 of them last week. My only issue with them though is that, I just don't have enough ;( They're already full and now I'm out.

Not as full as it was, but thanks to many of you, ALOT fuller than it would have been!

MulletMan - It is a greenhouse. Unfortunatelly, last winter, we had an almost week-long power outage due to a major ice storm. My sister and I lost everything except one little cactus in the greenhouse. And I lost about 1/3 of my hoyas in the house. Lesson learned, though, as I purchased a generator, so it won't happen again!!

Karen, I'm sorry to hear about your loss, I didn't know. Your GH looks beautiful and I'm 'green' with envy over it. My greenhouses consist of humidity domes over 10"x20" trays and a 'BigLots' greenhouse which isn't a greenhouse at all anymore because I misplaced the cover during my move last year. Now it's just a green rack :)

Take care.
