We are trying to plan a small "wetpark" system which would purify & filter roof water harvests.
using plants and natural filtering "beds" you can purify your greywater and captured roof water for use without danger of excess bacterial buildup and return the water to the natural system via streams & rivers without polluting and depleting the rainwater runoff
Has anyone tried this? Any information to share?.
We have a cistern & a couple of very small ponds at the moment, but we have the roof capacity for very good amounts of harvested water.......we are planning to put 10 acres in orchards and would like the system to give us watering capacities during droughts.
We also have plans for a self contained Japanese style solar bathhouse which would capture the water, store, filter, heat & dispose of of the water to natural sources ......a constant supply of hot water for bathing with no pollution to the invironment sounds good to me.
Any input welcome
