I'll be leaving for the summer in a few weeks so it seems Velvet Rose wants me to go out with a bang and one last flush. Many of my brugs are putting an a spring show right now. Here is a picture of Velvet Rose.

Thanks , I am making a data base with leaf , branch , flower colors - etc . Most pic's are just of flower . [ data base = Mac OS X , apple works if anyone interested ]

Velvet Rose looks wonderful, I just got this one this past fall. I can't wait to see it bloom now that I have seen pics of your plant.
David, This is one of my favorites. She is a heavy bloomer and doesn't have to be in a very large pot. I've kept this one in a 5 gallon for a few years now and even though she desperatley needs to be re potted she continues to produce flush after flush.

Gary, I was wrong when I told you that I had just got Velvet Rose this past fall, it was Pink Velvet that I received.
But from what I understand Pink Velvet is a real nice pink brug too. It is a sibling to (came out of the same seed pod) Velvet Rose.
Hopefully it won't be too long before you see blooms when you get up north.
Yes David, Velvet Rose, Pink Velvet, Santa Rosa and Flirtation all came out of this
(Pink Beauty x EP) cross by JT. The same cross was made by Bonnie Vaughn and that produced Painted Lady and Miss Emily Mackenzie. I have all of these brugs and love each and every one of them for their individuality and beauty. Each of them have nice color and fragrance too which is what I appreciate most in a brug.
