to my life list. First oriole for me in person. I had 2 old oranges so I cut them and put outside, he found them in less than an hour, amazing.

The hummingbirds are so active and aggressive around here, they can't even wait for me to get the feeders filled and back up, they eat while I am still holding them.

Fabulous - and I do so wish I could get an Oriole . . . we have Northern Orioles, or something like that, but I've yet to see one. I have been putting orange halves out, but for the most part they just go bad. I did buy a nectar feeder and some nectar on-line and will try it, but suspect it just ain't gonna happen here.
