Orange flowered vine???

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

I need help. I bought an orange flowering vine at Cornelius recently. The flowers are about 1 1/2" across, bright intense orange, look similar to a carnation and smell wonderful. It is a vine that needs support and doesn't clasp or wind around the support, but must be tied up. I don't remember what it was. It's not blooming right now or I'd put in a picture. I think the name of it was Mexican something or other. Does this ring any bells for anyone? I'll add a pic when it blooms again. Oh, it's not any of the common cross vine, cardinal climber, trumpet vine, honeysuckle, etc.

Thanks, Josephine. I knew someone on here would know. I should know better than to ever remove a tag from a plant without entering it in my journal because my memory is long gone. That's exactly what it is and I absolutely love the smell of these blooms. I didn't know how well it would do here, but I loved the fragrance so much, I had to buy it when I saw it. Knolan, it's good to know you're having luck with this. How long have you had it?

About 4 months. I bought it in early March but didn't get it into the ground until late March. I've taken cuttings to share and they root extremely fast. It's just a wonderful plant. Mine is climbing a trellis and is about 4 1/2" high now. It was rather small when I first bought it.

I even had a hummer buzzing around it about 3 weeks ago.
