Another Plant ID Purdy Please

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

I dug some bulbs up at a friends house several years ago and they are just now blooming for the first time. I think they're a lily of some sort but can anyone identify what kind? My friend doesn't know either. They've spread like wildfire and they're so very pretty.

Hey Knolan ~ that really looks like this to me.... http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/124667/

Is it planted in shade? The flowers are spread out a bit and it seems to be reaching for sun?

They are pretty. I have this one http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/57411/index.html although last year wasn't a good one for blooms.

ditto what podster said & yes, they are very enthusiastic growers.

By george, I think you've got it!

It's planted under a pine tree but really doesn't get much shade. That bed gets full sun, regardless of the pines. They were planted in one area of the yard....not where it's blooming now but seems to be spreading throughout the bed. This is the first I've ever had a bloom.

Thanks, Pod!
