Hi everyone,
I thought I would share a picture of the cute little plant stand I found. My friend has an antique shop and I couldn't resist. I can just imagine a little grandma fussing with her violets as they grew in this stand.
It has 9 little flower pots with ruffled edges that are stamped Imperial on the bottom. I think it might be from the 50's or 60's. I like to grow my violets in clay pots, so I just put gravel in the bottom of the pink pots and my clay pots on top. The plants seem to like it!

My vintage plant stand-so cute!
Oh, I love it Sue! Very Unique and holds so many pots! I could use a couple of those stands! Great Find!

Sue, that is really pretty. I love it. I love different things.
That is a super duper plant stand! Very elegant looking, perfect for violets. They just don't make that type of thing anymore. Wish they did (sigh). Maybe they will become popular again.
Sue what a great find! That looks marvelous.Oh I wish too that I could find something like that : )

Hi Everyineone,
Thanks for the kind words. :)
Sue, I do love the clay pots. My plants seem to do a lot better with them. Right now I am just using schultz's potting soil with perlite added. Some people here do not like Schultz's because it is hass added fertilizer but it is all I can find where I live.

Well whatever you are doing soil-wise, don't change it. Your plants are healthy. I have all my violets in clay pots, too. No special reason I guess. I just like the look--and the pots are cheap.
That is the cutest plant stand! I love it!
