hello again and thanks to everyone that sent me plants. since i couldn't be there though i have some questions about plants that were sent. does anyone know who bernice is? i don't think bernice was there though. i think someone came in with a bunch of these iris and just handed them out. but the name bernice is written on the iris. i would just like to know what kind of iris this is or any other information about them.

TrishAnn picked up the camera & Loretta's booklet Tuesday. Still have a nice plastic serving tray that had stuffed peppers & a glass pie pan that had the pecan pie in it. If anyone wants to claim them, the Lost & Found Dept is available for returning.

Mamajack, I wasn't there this year, but last year when Bob (throneofyord) brought LA Irises to the RU, he had the plant names written on the plants. Are you sure it wasn't some he was giving out?

well, then...............that explains who bernice is, doesn't it? and now i am most happy. if you told me that was the NAME of the iris i didn't get that. lol. i still wanna know who bernice is though. lol.

I was just lurking as usual and remembered that Bob had put names on his iris' last year. Since no one seemed to know who Bernice was, I took a wild shot! Bob will get a kick out of reading about the search for Bernice I bet!

I think the plastic tray was mine, which is really too funny. You see, I brought it to the round up in Arlington back in October, and I forgot it. Frostweed was so gracious as to take it home and take care of it for me, then brought it to CS. She even reminded me as I was packing the car not to forget it. Well, I went back to the kitchen, got my other containers and forgot to pick up the tray! I was well on my way home when I remembered. LOL
Now Dawn, that is just too funny!!! maybe Smockette will come to the fall R.U. and then you can get it. I think we are going to have to call it our passalong tray.

i know divide, yes i do. what kind of canna do you have? all of mine are doing well but stuttgardt rotted in the ground. bad canna for the south. but i am getting a tropicanna black in trade. also got alaska from a dg friend. and cannagirl gave me one of her babies from the unknown canna seeds that came from a white canna. that one might be fun. i forgot to thank you for the locust you sent. it looks different from the one my sister got me. i will be looking forward to seeing the flower. do you know what kind it is?

Last yr a DGer invited an (for lack of a better word) Asian couple, to the RU. I got two 5g locust for them.
WHOEVER is the guilty party, PLEASE, do again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They brought some VERY unusual plants just for the fun & comradery (SP)! Great young couple!!!
BUT, I sure hope these are the same as Linda brought to you so we can both have one+!

well these are 2 different locusts. yours has thorns on the trunk but mine has thorns and hairs. so you have never seen the flowers on this one?
