In my yard, this one is much worse than dollar weed. What's its name?
what is the name of this weed?
wild violets?
Probably Missouri Violet, a very pretty wildflower.

Josephine.
I have them in a flower bed and I think they are some sort of violet. They do go wild but they have a pretty purple blossom and so far they are pulled up pretty easy.
They're violets---When you weed them, you have to dig up the deep roots----They drive me wild and they spead everywhere. Beth
Gosh, It looks like the Missouri violets I got from the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower center a few years ago...I know they spread for me really well, but I like them because they stay evergreen and hold the soil in some troublesome areas for me. I had some at the roundup, I hope the people who took it will speak to me next year! nancy

Nery, take those to the next swap or offer them up in trades. They are desirables that many people pay good money for. :-) NHG has them on their top ten plants for shade list.
