Great job Kim! I grow stuff in water like that all the time! We had a "Rooting Jar Exchange" on this forum a month ago - I think another one is being planned for the fall ... it was so much fun, you should join in next time ... we just posted our name and sent a neat jar/vase/glass container to the person who posted their name below ours. I have been rooting all kinds of plants in water for years. That Philodendron of yours should do real well for you! I love the blue stones you used ... I lined my kitchen window with small glass jars and put blue chipped glass and marbles in them and stuck some cuttings in - they are full of roots now! I have glass containers scattered all over the place with stuff growing in water. I also have a collection of glass containers that I have planted different plants in. I have photo's somewhere ... will see if I can find some so you can see what I mean. Ok ... here's one of some containers on the (excuse the messy) desk! These are just clear glass containers that I planted up a few years ago.

I like the colored containers with start rooting in them. They look really pretty don't they? How long since you were working outside the home?

Yep ... I do have a lot of plants! Sometimes I think I have TOO MANY! Takes so much time. My back porch and deck are cluttered with plants, so many it takes me more than an hour to water them all! I need to downsize! :)

I love unusual shaped jars for rooting plants, and I really love it when I find colored glass jars!

You are quite welcome Kim! Yep! .... the more stuff you start rooting, the more shelves you end up needing! I am trying to cut back! I'm doing some Spring Cleaning inside the house right now and trying to move more plants outside! I have waaay to many plants! But, I don't work, so it keeps me busy that's for sure!
