This is going to be one big plant when it's finished growing. Already filling out and getting much taller. Last year, surprisingly, a deer ate the top of the plant off just as it was starting off. I'm hoping any other curious deer realize the consequences of eating Aconitum. I'm hoping for some spectacular shots in August and September of the flowers.

I'd do whatever it took to protect that plant from the deer, I'd be very upset if they eat it again. good luck.

If anyone is interested, I finally posted pictures of the blooms on these plants, 4 1/2 years later. Sorry for being late!
