Thanks Patti! I had a great day. ; D
What is the lightest colored one down in the bottom left corner of the aquarium? You do have a great hubby... I have one like that too, and I'm gonna keep him. He let me spend over $300.00 at Lowe's, then go to my Mom's and spend another $150.00 or so... all on flowers and garden stuff for my birthday!
Karen

This is a true country girl that married a city boy, and he is just amazed sometimes at my passion for plants and animals. He is learning alot and takes an interest, which I appreciate more than you know. We've been through so much, but life is good now, and he makes me terribly happy! I plan on bringing him along to the mid-atlantic plant swap on June 9th at Hart's place. Anyone else from over here coming?
Karen
This country gal is tired this week!!!!! My brother has been out of town all week....I have fed the deer that he raises every day, had the chain saw fixed so the trees can be taken down for a new cattle fence, etc.......................................
watered the veggie garden with soakers all week and taken care of all my own plants....I have one more day until he gets home.............hurry home, brother!!! This grandmother is ready for you to take over!!! (LOL)
Wow, what a great gift!!!! I was gonna ask about the same one Karen ask about!LOL
Happy Birthday
Debbie
Happy Belated Birthday CJ. Looks like you made out like a Bandit! WOW what a gorgeous variety and what an awesome hubby you have for sure!!
Nancy
Cjolene,
How is your Columnea light prince doing? I love Rob's too and I put WAY too many orders in :O
I just got a CLP and it is just adoreable and furry. I DON'T want to kill it! Can you give me any suggestions? How do you grow it?
My thoughts are to keep it in the original pot until it gets a little bigger, maybe change the soil to mine and wick it and I will put it under lights because I read somewhere it grows better that way.
Whadda ya think?
Thanks,
Sandi
great hubby, happy birthday,
mrsbonnie
Hi ; )
I really don't think I've had it long enough to be an "expert" on it. I've only had it a little over a month now. In fact, it's still in isolation. lol Maybe Snowrose has some tips- I think she said somewhere that she had one.
Got any new pictures for us, cjolene? I bet they've grown a mile since you've had them! :o)
lol Not quite!! ; D Pretty much the only difference is that I took the plastic off and they've been rearranged. lol
strep 'Salmon Sunset' had some browning at the base of 3 leaves. So I plucked them off, sprayed with a fungicide, and hopefully it'll bounce back. That's been the only problem, though.
A couple bloomed, but the blooms are brown-edged or gone now...there's a light pink one at the very bottom, you can just make it out...I should've done better...sorry. ; ( lol
They look wonderful! I know you're so happy with them. :o) I've got to go back up and read your list of what they all are again.
And this is completely off topic, but I was thinking of you earlier today. I was watering plants and I came to that ponytail palm you sent me. It's doing so well and is one of my favorite plants! It sits in my kitchen window right in front of my sink so I can see it all the time. I just wanted you to know how much I'm still enjoying it. :o) I know they're slow growers, but it really has grown quite a bit, considering. I'll snap a picture of it later, if you'd like to see it. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you thanks again for it! :o)
That's so funny that you mentioned that because I was thinking about snapping a pic of some of the things you've sent me. ; ) I must've lucked out and gotten them before you started having problems with your plants- they look great! It's been what, 8? 9? 10 months? lol
So glad to hear the ponytail palm is one of your favorites! ; )
We did our trade in June of last year. My problems didn't start til January or February of this year, so you were well in the clear. I'd love to see pics of yours and I'll get one of the ponytail palm later today. It's such a cutie! :o)
YES!! It looks GREAT! So I take it the other two went the way of the other plants lacking vitality? lol Okay, I took this picture but it took me forever to upload it to the computer (please forgive).
I need to repot the back one because it's drying out too quickly, but you can see that the Sinbad's been pretty happy.
